Contestant Requirements
All contestants must attend all
of the events listed in the Contestant Schedule which appears here. Judges
will take note of punctuality at all events.
Friday
Meet & Greet. All contestants should arrive
early for the Meet & Greet in order to check in with the production
staff. Contestants should bring an item or a small basket of items
to be auctioned during the Kinky Karnival later Friday night. Items can be acquired from individuals or by soliciting
donations from local businesses. Funds raised will go towards the winners
Travel Fund. This is a good opportunity to practice fundraising skills that
will be extremely valuable if you proceed to the next level.
Kinky Karnival and Auction. The Kinky Karnival will raise funds for
the winners travel fund. All contestants will be expected to work a short
shift in teams and sell 50/50 raffle tickets during the Karnival. This is
another opportunity for you to practice your fundraising skills, and it
is an excellent opportunity for the judges to see how you interact with
the public. The Karnival will end at 1:00 am, but contestants will be excused
by the production staff long before then in order to rest for the next day
(contestants should not leave before being notified).
Saturday
Interviews. This category counts towards one third of your
total score. You will appear before the judging panel to answer a series
of questions about your involvement with leather and your knowledge of the
leather community and its traditions. This event is not open to the public.
The interview is worth 100 points toward your final score.
Rehersals. You will have an opportunity to run through
your fantasy at the Mask & Wig with full sound and lights to get comfortable
with the stage. If there are other people involved in your fantasy, they
must attend rehersals with you.

compete in the following categories:
| CATEGORY | POINT VALUE |
| Formal Leather & Speech | 80 |
| Bar Wear & Introduction | 40 |

is necessary to get all of their gear into and out of the Mask & Wig
Club before and after the Contest.

or negative behavior could have an impact on your scores in later categories.
The judges will be looking for the best possible representative for the
Philadelphia region.
